The Huawei Watch GT Unboxing/Cover By Arsal Ali
Hey, another day, another unboxing, this is why we watch G.T. It is a small watch, but it’s not running kind of a less than we’re familiar with.
It’s not running Android Wear or where it was. It’s not running Taison like the Samsung watches, which I’m wearing.
It’s running its own lightweight Real-Time OS and basically provides 3 things. Time, of course, notifications, fitness tracking, and health and sleep, and all that good stuff. And, basic apps are baked in.
The tradeoff is that you get incredible battery life up to 2 weeks on average on a single charge, which is pretty exciting.
So, you know, it’s kind of a hybrid between a dumb fitness tracker and a smartwatch, all put in a really nice design. The box is all beat up by him. Bear with me while we watch duty.
Nothing new. Nothing here. Bunch of stuff in the back. Black stainless steel, graphite, black silicon stripe. And yes, it is water-resistant.
So you’ll be able to work out all this and swim with it and all good stuff. Some paperwork and stuff. Let’s open it up, shall we? Don’t put it onto the floor. Oh, come on. So Art, opening these boxes and boom.
There you go. Nothing in here, by the way, just in case you’re wondering.
There’s a bit of a ring there, but OK, so that’s the watch right here. It says poor.
Boom. Here’s the watch. Woo! Very nice. And then we’ve got nothing through Neuborne here. Got a little more little thing to open here, a little flap.
And in here you’ll find the charging port. It looks like it contacts, unfortunately, not wireless.
Oh, but USP type C, super awesome. I really love when accessories are USV seasons. My entire world is USGBC.
And the only way to really get to USGBC being universal is for all these accessories.
Bluetooth speakers, earphones, headphones, wireless, everything to have you SBC. So I command while we are doing this, they don’t do this where their bands are fitness bands.
So what else is in you? I use BC to use a cable course. Yes. B, C on this end there. Nothing too exciting there.
And then there’s a bunch of documentation I guess. See if I can get this out. There we go. So I’m going to get rid of this box real quick. I’m gonna have a look at all of this. Quick start guide. Very nice in English.
Put it in the charger. Charge it. The power button is at the top. The function buttons at the bottom.
Heart rate sensor and charging ports. Charging pins, rather, in the back. straightforward stuff. Then we’ve got a warranty card, nobody cares about.
And then I show you these 2 things. So let’s get to the watch. There’s a little piece there. All right, let’s open this up. And this is interesting because it’s a silicone band that’s kind of made to look a bit like a leather band.
It has a kind of like that edged finish with a gray edge. Very nice. And you can see these are standard bands, either 22 or 20 millimeters, I’m not sure. So you can remove this, put your favorite band on it.
They go in the back. You’ve got a whole series of heart monitoring since this is continuous heart rate monitoring all day.
All the time. And it does have sleep tracking, automatic sleep tracking, which I think is really cool. Are those 2 pins again?
I wish this was wireless. These ten things tend to wear out.
Then again, you won’t have to trudge every day or 2 like you would with an Android Wear watch or even the Samsung Galaxy Watch, which you lost about three days on Charger. So this will last 14 days.
So you’ll probably wear all these contacts too quickly by having to put her on the charge only every 14 days, 15 days, 2 weeks or so.
So you can see there’s a very large display here is a 4 inch or so display.
And it has 2 buttons and the bezzle doesn’t move, but it’s a pretty thin bezel. I think it’s a smaller display, something like 400 or pixel or so by 400 pixels. So pretty high rez. This feels like plastic bins.
The whole thing is metal. It’s a little on the thick side, but not too bad. So let’s turn it on. There we go. I was worried for a second that it was completely discharged way.
So really nice display. So here it is booting and 6.so then why and then we go scan to install. So this is the bar code for installing the actual app that you need, which is why we Healthway, where you can find it in the play store.
So from here on, I can reassure you anything because I have to pair this with a phone and make it work. You know what?
This button does anything right now, but that’s it. So that’s pretty cool.
You know immediately what to do. I will take this for a spin. I will let you know more I play with it. Listen to the show.
You’ll find me and you should add me.
